CONCLUSIONS • We demonstrate eco-friendly and green synthesis approaches of isotropic and anisotropic nanomaterials that meet our environmental stewardship needs: • Atom Economy: Maximize the incorporation of all materials used in a reaction into the final product. • Prevention: Prevent waste generation in the first place. • Less Hazardous Chemical Synthesis: Use and generate substances with low toxicity to humans and the environment. • Safer Solvents and Auxiliaries: Avoid or minimize the use of hazardous solvents.
