{ital g}{sub {ital B}}{sup {asterisk}}{ital B}{rho} and {ital g}{sub {ital D}}{sup {asterisk}}{ital D}{rho} coupling constants in light cone QCD sum rules

The decay constants for the strong off-shell {ital B}{sup {asterisk}}{implies}{ital B}{rho} and {ital D}{sup {asterisk}}{implies}{ital D}{rho} decays are calculated in the framework of light cone QCD sum rules. The results are shown to be in agreement with the predictions of the {open_quote}{open_quote}classical{close_quote}{close_quote} sum rules method, and with those of the vector dominance model. {copyright} {ital 1995 The American Physical Society.}
