We present the results of simulations concerning a vector and tensor deuteron polarimeter, working in the range 1.2-2 GeV, based on {ital d},{ital p} elastic scattering. It could be built as a modification of the existing polarimeter POMME working at Saturne. The first results of a MonteCarlo simulation show a large figure of merit. The first experiment in which it is supposed to work is the study of baryon resonances in the framework of the SPES4{pi} project at Saturne. {copyright} {ital 1995 American Institute of Physics.}
