The transverse magnetic mode surface wave dispersion relation for a two-electron component plasma which was derived incorrectly in Ref. [Phys. Fluids B {bold 5}, 4502 (1993)] [Eq. (5)] is rederived. It is also shown that the transverse attenuation constant as derived in Ref. [Phys. Plasmas {bold 1}, 3716 (1994)] should be used. {copyright} {ital 1996 American Institute of Physics.}
