The quasielastic ({ital e},{ital e}{prime}{ital p}) reaction has been studied with {sup 2}H, C, Fe, and Au nuclei at momentum transfers {ital Q}{sup 2}=1, 3, 5, and 6.8 (Gev/c){sup 2}. The nuclear transparency is extracted and compared with calculations based on perturbative QCD that predict a significant increase in transparency with momentum transfer, a phenomenon known as Color Transparency. No statistically significant rise is seen for any of the nuclei studied. {copyright} {ital 1995} {ital American} {ital Institute} {ital of} {ital Physics}.
