Title: Deposition and clearance of {sup 212}Pb in humans

Abstract

In this study, volunteers were exposed to {sup 212}Pb in the thorium hydroxide storage facility. Personal air samplers were used to determine the concentration of {sup 212}Pb in air. The {sup 212}Pb concentration in the chest was measured with a whole body counter and the decay was followed for 24 hours.
