The Portsmouth Background Values (https://rais.ornl.gov/tools/ports_background.html) are from a Soil Background Report for the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant, which sought to develop a comprehensive soil dataset using surface and subsurface soil samples. The Portsmouth background dataset on the RAIS also includes background concentrations for groundwater.
