Thermophilic process cuts biomass wastes

Aerobic thermophilic biological technology can be applied to the treatment and destruction of organic wastes. This technology combines the rapid biodegration rates associated with aerobic biological systems with the low sludge yields that characterize anaerobic systems. System principles and applications are discussed.
