Study of {Lambda}{sub c}{r_arrow}X{Lambda}{ell}{sup +}{nu}{sub {ell}} decay

Using the CLEO II data sample of 2 fb{sup {minus}1} corresponding to about 2.5 millions c{bar c} events, the authors have begun a systematic study of charmed baryon semileptonic decays. They present the cross section for {Lambda}{sub c} {r_arrow}X{Lambda}{ell}{sup +}{nu}{sub {ell}}, the dynamical structure of the decay and a comparison with HQET. Finally using the observed cross sections for the {Lambda}{sub c} they obtain an absolute normalization of the {Lambda}{sub c} decay branching ratio.
