Investigation of the semileptonic decay of the B{sub S} meson in {bar p}p collisions at {radical}s=1.8 TeV

Preliminary investigation of the semileptonic decay mode B{sub S}{r_arrow}l{sup +}vD{sub S}{sup {minus}}X, D{sub S}{sup {minus}}{r_arrow} {phi}{pi}{sup {minus}} using B{sub S} mesons produced in {bar p}p collisions is presented. The signal is searched for as an excess of D{sub S}{sup {minus}}l{sup +} events over D{sub S}{sup {minus}}l{sup {minus}} events after background subtraction. The data sample consists of inclusive lepton events recorded by the CDF experiment during 1992-93 Tevatron collider run at Fermilab. The results are compared with similar measurements by other experiments and with theoretical expectations.
