The region of neutron deficient Hg isotopes presents a variety of shape evolution and shape coexistence phenomena. To gain further insight into this region, experiments were carried out at ANL using the Fragment Mass Analyzer and 10 Compton suppressed Ge detectors to identify and establish the level structures of {sup 183,181}Hg. For the identification of {sup 183}Hg and {sup 181}Hg the authors have used the reaction {sup 155}Gd ({sup 32}S,xn) at a beam energy of 160 MeV and 190 MeV respectively respectively. The {gamma}-rays of energies 251.7, 271.4, 302.9, 334.5, 354.1, 403.4, 429.1, 445.3, 520.8 and 582.5 keV were assigned to {sup 183}Hg and 377.8, 417.5, 445.0, 513.4 were assigned to {sup 181}Hg. Analysis of coincidence data is in progress.
