The National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) and Nūxsen are embarking on a collaborative project to research a low-cost, high-performance chemical sorbent for the rapidly growing Direct Air Capture (DAC) industry. The expected outcomes of this collaboration include the production and testing of a carbon dioxide sorbent material with improved cost, capacity, cycle time, regeneration, and durability. This project is the result of funding provided to Nūxsen from the Department of Energy’s Direct Air Capture Pre-Commercialization Technology Prize.
