The recent discovery of electron diffraction patterns of an Al-Mn alloy with icosahedral symmetry which is forbidden in crystalline symmetry brought on a new concept of the quasiperiodic lattice with a long-range orientational order and without translational order. Quasicrystals are objects with strong (and unusual) orientational order and without translational one. Instead of the translational order one may consider a quasi-periodicity. From the author`s point of view, there are no limitations, apart from the problems of stability, for existence of the quasicrystals with routine lattice symmetry, say with the 3-fold or 4-fold axes, and, consequently, with a translational order and with a presence of additional phason modes. This paper deals with an analysis of such cases.
