Ion-acoustic oscillations generated by the collapse of Langmuir waves may play an important part in collisionless transport of the energy in plasmas with Langmuir turbulence. The mechanism of Langmuir waves conversion on ion-acoustic waves is thought to transfer the bulk of the energy into a non-isothermal plasma (T{sub e} {much_gt} T{sub i}). Unfortunately, there is only one experiment dedicated to the detailed investigation of the ion-acoustic oscillations produced by the collapse of the electron plasma waves. In our previous work the spectra of Langmuir turbulence excited by relativistic electron beam in magnetized plasma was studied. In the paper presented here the experimental results on the observation of the ion-acoustic oscillations by the collective laser scattering are reported.
