Diffeq: Numerical solution of differential euqations

The software Diffeq, version 1.0, is designed to provide numerical solution of ordinary differential equations with initial conditions (ivp`s), including higher order nonlinear equations. Higher order Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE`s) are rewritten as systems of first order equations. Both single and multiple first order equations are entered directly into the program. Besides providing the numerical solution, the software, which is menu driven, also provides Time-Phase, Phase-Field, and Flow plots of the solution. These graphic outputs, if carefully pursued, may lead to some new interesting properties of the physical system under investigation. The program provides a choice amongst the following numerical algorithms: Euler, Runge-Kutta, Predictor-Corrector, Modified Midpoint, Adaptive Runge-Kutta, Bulirsch-Stoer, and Episode which is a stiff equation package. The software is developed in Pascal using Borland`s TurboPascal version 6.0.
