The deformation microstructure of a Ti-52at.%Al alloy deformed at 600 C is studied. A moderate number of 1/2{l_angle}112{r_angle} superdislocations are observed. They are identified to be almost always {+-}30{degree} or edge in character, i.e. along {l_angle}011{r_angle} or {l_angle}110{r_angle} directions. Triangular dislocation loops with b = 1/2[112], three sides of which are parallel to [101], [011] and [1{bar 1}0], respectively, are also frequently observed. It is determined by TEM weak beam imaging technique and computer simulation of image profiles that the {+-}30{degree} segment dissociates into a triplet of partials along with an SISF and an APB and the edge one into SISF-coupled partials.
