Continuous-wave oscillation at an overtone of the HF molecule in an autonomous laser with an external resonator

Experimental investigation of a CW chemical laser with a supersonic flow oscillating at the first overtone of the HF molecule is reported. The frequency discrimination of the fundamental spectral components is performed using dichroic mirrors of an external resonator. The output power obtained in the most intense C overtone P{sub 2-0} line is higher than the intensity at any of fundamental frequencies.
