Kharkov Inst. of Physics and Technology (KIPT) of Ukraine has a plan to construct a driven subcritical assembly facility using an electron accelerator. The main functions of the facility are medical isotope production and support of the Ukraine nuclear industry, including reactor physics and material research experiments. As a part of the joint activity between Argonne National Laboratory (ANL) and KIPT, ANL is developing a conceptual design for this facility. This paper describes the conceptual designs and the analyses of the electron targets generating neutrons to drive this subcritical assembly. (authors)
