Experimental Status of the Longitudinal Structure Function, F{sub L}

The current experimental status of the longitudinal structure structure function is discussed. In particular, recent measurements from the JLab Hall C program on proton, deuteron, and nuclei, which cover a range from moderate to large Bjorken x and 0.1 < Q{sup 2} < 4 (GeV/c){sup 2} are discussed.
