The conditions for the combustion chain reaction in a system of long-lived metastable isomers and a quasi-equilibrium high-temperature plasma radiation are considered. Estimates are presented for the ignition energy, the combustion pulse duration, the reaction zone dimensions, etc. (laser applications and other topics in quantum electronics)
