Observation of the temporal separation of photons in an ultrashort laser pulse transmitted through a scattering medium

Temporal separation of photons in an ultrashort laser pulse transmitted through a strongly scattering medium was reliably observed in experiments. The selected combination of the initial pulse parameters and of the characteristics of the scattering medium made it possible to ensure conditions necessary for the generation of a bimodal temporal profile of the transmitted radiation.
