D{sub s} mesons are investigated in a semiclassic flux tube model where the spin-orbit interaction is taken into account. Spectrum of D-wave D{sub s} is predicted. The predicted spectrum is much lower than most previous predictions. Analysis of some D{sub s} candidates is made. D{sub sJ}(2632){sup +} may be a 1{sup -} j{sup P}=(3/2){sup -} or 1 {sup 3}D{sub 1}) orbitally excited D{sub s} meson if it really exists. D{sub s1}(2700){sup {+-}} is very possibly the first radially excited 1{sup -} (j{sup P}=(1/2){sup -} or 2 {sup 3}S{sub 1}) D{sub s} meson [the first radial excitation of D{sub s}*{sup {+-}}(2112){sup 0}]. D{sub sJ}*(2860){sup +} should be a 3{sup -} (j{sup P}=(5/2){sup -} or 1 {sup 3}D{sub 3}) orbitally excited D{sub s} meson, and D{sub sJ}(3040){sup +} is the first radially excited 1{sup +} (j{sup P}=(1/2){sup +}) D{sub s} meson. Our conclusions are consistent with the latest BABAR experiment.
