Evidence for a{sub 0}(1450){yields}KK-bar in p-barp annihilation at rest

We present evidence for a{sub 0}(1450) decaying to KK-bar in p-barp annihilation at rest in liquid hydrogen in the final state K{sub L}K{sup {+-}}{pi}{sup {+-}}. This reaction is important for the study of the KK-bar decay mode of scalar resonances, in particular the isovectors a{sub 0}(980) and a{sub 0}(1450). The determination of the a{sub 0}(1450) production also fixes the KK-bar coupling of the isoscalar f{sub 0}(1500). We find B(p-barp{yields}a{sub 0}(1450){pi};a{sub 0}(1450){yields}KK-bar)=(8.88{+-}1.68){center_dot}10{sup -4} and hence B(p-barp{yields}f{sub 0}(1500){pi};f{sub 0}(1500){yields}KK-bar)=(4.52{+-}0.36){center_dot}10{sup -4}.
