Vector meson and heavy flavor production at HERA

Results based on recent investigation of vector meson production using H1 and ZEUS detectors at HERA are presented. Measurements of elastic production of {rho}{sup 0}, {omega}, {phi} and J/{psi} mesons at Q{sup 2}{approx_equal}0 and at large Q{sup 2} are discussed, along with results on inelastic photoproduction of J/{psi} meson via photon-gluon fusion.
