A summary is given of the present status (summer '97) of all recent and ongoing H dibaryon searches at the Brookhaven AGS. This includes direct searches either via H production or via detection of H decay products, as well as experiments with indirect implications on the existence of the H, like searches for H nuclei and {lambda}{lambda} hypernuclei. Projectiles used in these experiments for H formation include protons, K{sup -}, {xi}{sup -}, and relativistic Si and Au ions. Recent results make the existence of a deeply-bound H appear very unlikely.
