Elastic J/{psi} production at HERA

The reaction e{sup +}p{yields}e{sup +}J/{psi}p has been studied in photoproduction and at large Q{sup 2} using data collected with the ZEUS detector at HERA. The observed strong rise of the cross section with the {gamma}p center of mass energy is well described by perturbative QCD inspired models when gluon densities in the proton strongly rising for x{yields}0 are used.
