Elastic electroproduction of {rho}{sup 0} mesons for intermediate and high Q{sup 2} at ZEUS

The production of {rho}{sup 0} mesons via the reaction ep{yields}e{rho}{sup 0}p({rho}{sup 0}{yields}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup -}) was studied with data obtained with the ZEUS detector at HERA. The elastic {rho}{sup 0} cross section is presented as a function of Q{sup 2}, W{sub {gamma}}{sub *p} and t, in two kinematical ranges: 0.25<Q{sup 2}<0.85 GeV{sup 2}, 20<W{sub {gamma}}{sub *p}<90 GeV, |t|<0.6 GeV{sup 2} and 5<Q{sup 2}<30 GeV{sup 2}, 42<W{sub {gamma}}{sub *p}<134 GeV, |t|<0.6 GeV{sup 2}. R={sigma}{sub L}/{sigma}{sub T} is presented for different Q{sup 2} intervals.
