Since its installation, the Lazy Susan of the TRIGA Mark III reactor of the Centro Nuclear de Mexico presented some problems in its operation. A series of tests were carried out to determine and remove the cause of this malfunction and. In result the old lazy susan was replaced with a new unit in order to maintaining the radiological exposure of personnel within acceptable levels.
