Using a pulse-train laser with only 2.3 J/cm pumping energy, ASE's from two Li-like Al lines (105.7 A and 154.7 A) were observed. Gain coefficient of 105.7 A was improved up to over 4 cm{sup -1} when laser intensity of the second half of a pulse-train laser was reduced to 25% of the first one. The time duration of the gain was about 1 ns within the 3 ns total time duration of pulse-train laser. Also an experiment on double-pass amplification of Al{sup 10+} 154.7 A line was carried out by using an X-ray multi-layer mirror and increase of the line intensity by a factor of 4.4 was observed.
