Charm meson spectroscopy at Belle

We report studies of production and decay of charmed mesons performed at Belle. Measurements of D** production in the B{yields}D**{pi} and B{yields}D**lv decays are presented. The analysis of the D{sub s1}(2536){sup +}{yields}D{sup +}{pi}{sup -}K{sup +} decay and study of the angular distributions in the D{sub s1}(2536){sup +}{yields}D*{sup +}K{sub S}{sup 0} decay are reported.
