Water-quality assessment of part of the upper Mississippi river basin, Minnesota and Wisconsin: Volatile organic compounds in surface and ground water, 1978-94. Water resources investigations
Technical Report
·
OSTI ID:210834
The purposes of this report are to describe detections of selected VOC`s in surface and ground water samples collected from widely distributed networks of sampling stations and wells, and to describe possible relations between the detection of these compounds in surface and ground water with human and natural factors in the study area. Water-quality data from monitoring wells at disposal and spill sites (point sources) of VOC`s are discussed but not combined with water-quality data from widely distributed sampling networks in this report.
