Explicit CP violation in the Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model can be introduced owing to the interaction of Higgs bosons with third-generation scalar quarks. Supersymmetric corrections to effective-potential parameters at various values of the masses {sigma}(M-tilde, Q ,M-tilde U) {sigma}, and {sigma}(M-tilde) {sigma} are calculated by the effective-potential method. It is shown that, in this case, the potential parameters may differ strongly from those in the case of degenerate mass parameters of the scalar sector of the minimal supersymmetric standard model. This leads to a weak dependence of observables on the CP-violation phase.
