Effect of the a{sub 1}(1260) resonance on the {rho} {sup {yields}} 4{pi} and {omega},o {sup {yields}} 5 {pi} decay widths
Abstract
The contribution of the a{sub 1}(1260) meson to the {rho}(770) {sup {yields}} 4{pi},{omega}(782) {sup {yields}} 5{pi}, and o(1020) {sup {yields}} 5{pi} decay amplitudes is analyzed on the basis of the chiral model of pseudoscalar, vector, and axialvector mesons that is based on generalized hidden local symmetry and which is supplemented with terms induced by the WessZumino anomaly. It is shown that the intensities of the above decays are enhanced upon taking into account the a{sub 1} meson in intermediate states. For the a{sub 1}meson mass m{sub a{sub 1}} varying from 1.23 GeV to m{sub p}{radical}2=1.09 GeV, the enhancement factor grows from 1.3 to 1.9.

Consequences of the BABAR and KLOE e{sup +}e{sup }{yields}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup } data for the determination of modeldependent {rho}{omega} mixing effects in {Pi}{sub {rho}{omega}}(m{sub {rho}}{sup 2}) and (g2){sub {mu}}
We update our analysis of {rho}{omega} mixing effects in the pion form factor to incorporate the recently published BABAR and KLOE e{sup +}e{sup }{yields}{pi}{sup +}{pi}{sup } cross sections. Implications for {tau}decaybased standard model estimates of the leading order hadronic contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment, and for the extraction of the offdiagonal vector meson selfenergy matrix element, {Pi}{sub {rho}{omega}}(m{sub {rho}}{sup 2}), are discussed. 
A study of the reaction {pi}{sup } p {yields} {omega}{pi}{sup } p at 18 GeV/c: The D and S decay amplitudes for b{sub 1}(1235) {yields} {omega}{pi}
The reaction {pi}{sup } p {yields} {omega}{pi}{sup } p, {omega} {yields} {pi}{sup +} {pi}{sup } {pi}{sup 0} has been studied at 18 GeV/c. The {omega}{pi}{sup } mass spectrum is found to be dominated by the b{sub 1}(1235). Partial Wave Analysis shows that b{sub 1} production is dominated by natural parity exchange. The Swave and Dwave amplitudes for b{sub 1}(1235) {yields} {omega}{pi} have been determined, and it is found that the amplitude ratio, D/S = 0.269 {+} (0.009){sub stat} {+} (0.01){sub sys} and the phase difference, {phi}(DS) = 10.54{sup o} {+} (2.4{sup o}){sub stat} {+} (3.9){sub sys}.
