We investigated charged-particle decay from the high-lying dipole resonances at Ex=24 MeV in 6He and at 18 MeV in 7He via the 6,7Li(7Li,7Be x) reactions at 455 MeV and at 0 deg. . d- and t-decay, and t-decay was observed as the dominant decay modes for these resonances in 6He and 7He, respectively. The yield ratios observed for charged particle decay were qualitatively consistent with those expected from the assumption that the resonances are the analogs of the dipole resonances in the {alpha} cluster in 6Li and 7Li, but could not be explained by simple phase space calculations.
