A Study on the Grazing Angle Variability of Bent Elliptical Microfocusing Mirror

The grazing angle variability of bent elliptical microfocusing mirror with variable width mirror substrates was investigated. It has been shown that with properly adjusted bending moments, a bent elliptical microfocusing mirror optimized for certain optical configuration can be well used for a range of grazing incident angle.
