The shift of three argon spectral lines due to the interactions between the excited atoms and atoms in a ground state has been calculated. These lines belong to one spectral series 3p{sup 5}nd {sup 2}[7/2]{sub 4}-3p{sup 5}4p {sup 2}[5/2]{sub 3} for n = 5-7. The dependence of the shift coefficient on gas temperature under atmospheric pressure has been obtained. The semi-classical impact theory has been applied and Kaulakys potential has been used.
