Nuclear Hydrogen Design Development (NHDD) will require a large number of calculations involving a large number of operating parameter variations and many different system configurations. For this task, the HyPEP, which is specifically designed to be an easy-to-use and fast running tool for the hydrogen and electricity production evaluation with a flexible system layout, is being developed. It is planned to include the cost models in HyPEP to enable the program to be capable of carrying out the system optimization calculations. (authors)
