A high-intensity proton accelerator complex, J-PARC, is under construction in Japan. By using the high-intensity proton beams at 3 GeV and 50 GeV, various secondary beams of neutron, muons, kaons, pions, neutrino, etc. will be produced in the highest intensities in the world. Nuclear physics programs using the 50-GeV proton synchrotron are mainly described.
