Determination of (p,{gamma}) reaction rates via transfer reactions of mirror nuclei

A method, neutron transfer reaction and charge symmetry of mirror nuclei, is used to study (p,{gamma}) reaction on proton-rich nuclei in this paper. The asymptotic normalization coefficients (ANCs) of virtual decays 9Li {yields} 8Li + n and 27Mg {yields} 26Mg + n were extracted from the angular distributions of the 8Li(d, p)9Li and 26Mg(d, p)27Mg reactions, through distorted wave Born approximation (DWBA) analysis. The astrophysical S-factors and reaction rates of 8B(p, {gamma})9C and 26Si(p, {gamma})27P were then determined based on charge symmetry.
