This work presents results from an R-matrix Floquet calculation which has been used to study radiative damping effect in dielectronic recombination process in a region for which the radiative transition probability exceeds the separation between resonances in a Rydberg series, where one can have overlapping resonances and the interference terms are expected, i.e. a perturbative description fails. The occurrence of the laser-induced degenerate states phenomenon involving autoionizing states has been observed and understood by constructing model taking full account of the electron collision and radiative processes in a consistent way, when radiation field is considered to all orders. The method is applied for dielectronic recombination of Li-like into Be-like systems as an example.
