The capture {gamma} rays from the 46-keV d-wave and 84-keV p-wave neutron resonances of 24Mg were measured by using a large anti-Compton HPGe {gamma}-ray spectrometer . A neutron time-of-flight method was adopted with a 1.5-ns pulsed neutron source by the 7Li(p,n)7Be reaction. The standard capture cross sections of 197Au were used to determine the incident neutron flux. Twenty-one and twenty-six primary {gamma}-ray transitions were identified for the 46- and 84-keV resonances, respectively. The corresponding capture kernels were derived for both the resonances, and the radiative widths were obtained for the 84-keV broad resonance.
