A gain-clamped, crosstalk free, vertical cavity lasing semiconductor optical amplifier for WDM applications

We have fabricated and tested a semiconductor optical amplifier that is gain clamped by vertical cavity lasing and amplifies horizontally with 25 dB crosstalk suppression.
