Flux compactification has proven to be a fruitful arena for addressing simultaneously several phenomenological problems in string theory, including moduli stabilization, supersymmetry breaking, and the weak hierarchy problem. Explicit constructions of flux compactification may also shed light on the statistics of the string theory landscape. In this talk, I will describe some recent progress in constructing realistic flux vacua.
