We study isoscalar and isovector giant monopole resonances in spherical nuclei using the time dependent Hartree-Fock method with different Skyrme forces. The aim of the investigation is to study how e.g. mass-number and neutron excess influence the isoscalar and isovector giant monopole resonances as well as their mixing. We also study how nuclear matter properties, like the asymmetry energy, of different Skyrme forces effect the behaviour of giant resonances.
