With a sample of 232x10{sup 6} {upsilon}(4S){yields}BB events collected with the BABAR detector, we study the decay B{sup +}{yields}ppK{sup +} excluding charmonium decays to pp. We measure a branching fraction B(B{sup +}{yields}ppK{sup +})=(6.7{+-}0.5{+-}0.4)x10{sup -6}. An enhancement at low pp mass is observed and the Dalitz plot asymmetry suggests dominance of the penguin amplitude in this B decay. We search for a pentaquark candidate {theta}*{sup ++} decaying into pK{sup +} in the mass range 1.43 to 2.00 GeV/c{sup 2} and set limits on B(B{sup +}{yields}{theta}*{sup ++}p)xB({theta}*{sup ++}{yields}pK{sup +}) at the 10{sup -7} level.
