Formation of the H{sup -} ion in the positronium-hydrogen-atom collision

The cross sections (both differential and total) for H{sup -} formation in the process Ps(1s)+H(1s){yields}e{sup +}+H{sup -} in the energy range 10-500 eV have been studied. The calculations have been performed in the framework of the Coulomb-modified eikonal approximation and take account of the long-range Coulomb attraction between the outgoing e{sup +} and H{sup -} ion in the final channel.
