The transport behavior near the junction interface in ramp Josephson junctions with a graded barrier

The stationary properties of high-{Tc} ramp type Josephson junctions with a graded Y{sub 1{minus}x}Pr{sub x}Ba{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub y} barrier have been studied. In such a structure the composition of the Y{sub 1{minus}x}Pr{sub x}Ba{sub 2}Cu{sub 3}O{sub y} barrier is continually changed as x increasing from 0 to 1 at one side of the PrBCO and vice versa at the other side. The critical current of these junctions showed a nearly linear dependence on the temperature. The experimental results were discussed in comparing with theoretical models.
