Efficiency of constructed wetlands for residential wastewater treatment

One of the major water quality concerns in many areas of the country is finding alternative methods for on-site, residential wastewater treatment systems. In response to this issue, there has recently been a rush of interest in constructed wetlands as a practical, natural alternative. This paper documents the performance of such residential systems under for a broad range of temperatures and recommends adjusted input parameters for the two most popular design models.
