Steam partnership: Improving steam system efficiency through marketplace partnerships

Steam systems offer many opportunities for cost-effective efficiency improvements. The Alliance to Save Energy, a national nonprofit organization based in Washington DC, and the US Department of Energy are working with energy efficiency suppliers to promote the comprehensive upgrade of industrial steam systems. Like EPA's Green Lights and DOE's Motor Challenge, the Steam Partnership program will encourage Steam Team of trade associations, consulting engineering firms. and energy efficiency companies to help develop this public-private initiative.
