Title: A photovoltaic AC fusion converter

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to describe the conception of a newly developed simple converter which fuses the photovoltaic power and the ac power of the distribution network. The design consideration, detailed circuit and the characteristics of the fusion mode of this converter are discussed. The results of a preliminary field test are reported to facilitate the understanding of the fusion mode. The use of this converter is a cost effective alternative technology that promotes energy conservation.
